The foundation of most “dynamics” aka BDSM relationships/ownerships are a dominant and a submissive. There are not gender specific and can be a monogamy (one partner) or Polyagamy (several partners).

The dominant are the decision maker in the dynamic and the submissive follows all decisions made.

This is very much a control play kink, and it can come in every shape and form you’d be interested in, so go into the world with patience and spend time looking for the right play partner(s). Never settle for anyone who plays with your limits or who is looking for something you know you cannot give.

The Dominant will usually look to be addressed using a title such as Master, Mistress, Goddess and so on, where the submissive will usually be addressed with a nickname (sometimes a degrading one, if you are into that kink)
